Budget 2021: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman meets President Ram Nath Kovind ahead of Budget presentation

The presentation of the Union Budget will begin with a speech by Finance Minister scheduled to take place at around 11 am.


Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present Union Budget 2021-22 in Parliament on Monday, at a time when India is recovering from the COVID-19 crisis.

Before presenting her third budget Nirmala Sitharaman and her team met President Ram Nath Kovind. She was accompanied by her deputy Anurag Thakur and other officials of the Finance Ministry.

The presentation of the Union Budget will begin with a speech by Finance Minister scheduled to take place at around 11 am.

With the Union Budget 2021-22 set to be delivered in paperless form for the first time, Sitharaman replaced the Swadeshi 'bahi khata' and switched to a tablet.
