Synopsis

The Relief e-bike is equipped with a tracker that tracks its whereabouts in real-time and can be seen remotely. In the event of theft, an alert is promptly sent to the owner's smartphone to notify them.

Cyclik, a French company specializing in bamboo bikes, has introduced a new electric, connected, and customizable model. The firm is now releasing Relief, an electric and connected bike. The Relief will soon be available beginning at €3,500 (roughly $4,140). In recent years, Cyclik's bamboo-framed bikes have stood out from the pack.  It, too, is framed in bamboo and may be customized in terms of colour and etching (initials, motif, etc.). Bamboo is a natural material that is extremely durable and may be a valuable asset to bikers. It can absorb five times more vibrations than metal, providing significant driving comfort. This bamboo e-bike has puncture-resistant and fluorescent tyres, as well as hydraulic braking discs.

The Relief e-bike is equipped with a tracker that tracks its whereabouts in real-time and can be seen remotely. In the event of theft (at the smallest movement of the bike), an alert is promptly sent to the owner's smartphone to notify them. A companion app assists riders with navigation by identifying routes and directing bicycles during their travels, even when they are not connected to the internet.

The Cyclik Relief e-bike, made in France, weighs just 16.5 kg and has a range of around 70 kilometres, which can be increased to 120 kilometres with the installation of a second battery. The bike is projected to start at around €3,500 (roughly $4,140). It joins a growing lineup of high-end electric bikes from French manufacturers such as Angell and Moustache.
