A video of a thirsty squirrel asking for water has gone viral on social media  

Bengaluru: A video has gone viral on social media, which shows a thirsty squirrel asking for some water.

The video shows the squirrel seen spotting a water bottle in the hands of a man. Then the squirrel stands up on its hind legs and repeatedly tries to gesture towards the water bottle with its front legs.

In the video, a woman can be heard, "It's thirsty. Why don't you give it water?"

The man then bends down and offers water to the rodent. The squirrel quenches its thirst.

The video has gone viral on social media platforms, garnering more than 35,900 likes. The video melted the hearts of the netizens too.
