Students gift pocket money to get their teacher’s eye operated

In a heart-warming incident, students of a private school showed their love towards their teacher. They saved their pocket money and gifted it to their Maths teacher who lost his eyesight in a road accident.

In a kind and heart-warming incident, students studying at Target School in Yellanuru Road in Tadipatri of Anantapur district decided to help their teacher, who lost his eyesight in a road accident. They collected their pocket money and gifted him Rs 60,000 for the eye operation.

Nagaraju, working as a Maths teacher in the private school, recently met with a road accident and lost his eyesight. When he consulted the LV Prasad eye hospital in Hyderabad, they offered to treat him, but it would cost him more than Rs 1 lakh. Nagaraju hailing from a poor background was struggling to meet the expenses.

The school correspondent Jayachandra, the students and teachers aware of his circumstances, decided to help him and saved money for a week and gifted Rs 60,090 to Nagaraju for his treatment.

The correspondent also requested other donors to respond and save the life of a teacher during his hour of need.
