Pushpa Reddy is the wife of Nakirekal MLA Vemula Veeresam and is trying to make a niche for herself in politics She’s accused of the attacks on Komatireddy and also handcuffing Yevuri Somananna

In the recent handcuffing incident of Telangana activist, poet and writer Yevuri Somanna, the leading lady behind the incident has been identified as Kunta Pushpa Reddy, wife of Nakirekal MLA Vemula Veeresam. She handcuffed Somanna in Suryapet Tirumalgiri police station and her followers recorded a video and posted on the social media.

Kunta Pushpa belongs to Kotamarri in Motkur mandal. Her father Kunta Bhiksham Reddy worked as the Jana Sakthi party leader and in the course of her party work she married Vemula Veeresam.

She is closely related to the present Telangana Electricity minister Guntakandla Jagadish Reddy and using his power, she enacted the whole incident at Tirumalgiri police station.

For the past three years she is playing an active role in Nakirekal Constituency along with her husband and people approached her with their troubles. TRS workers say that she works for women’s problems, dowry harassment and other women issues.

She is active in the district politics and actively participated in the Orange market opening in Nalgonda. In the opening, people attacked Congress leader Komatireddy Venkatareddy and Pushpa was held responsible for the attack.

But the handcuffing incident of Yevuri Somanna is earning her criticism for her inhuman act.
