BJP MLC Somu Veerraju clashes with YCP during Kakinada polls

BJP MLC argues with YCP at the polling booth YCP stopped BJP leaders from distribution of money at the polling station

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLC Somu Veerraju clashed with the YCP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) supporters during the Kakinada Municipal Corporation Elections.

According to sources, BJP leaders tried to seek votes by distributing money to the voters at 9th Division polling station. YCP supporters tried to stop the BJP leaders.

On hearing about the incident BJP MLC Somu Veerraju landed at the scene of tussle and joined in the clash. He argued with the YCP supporters creating a tension in the polling station.

Police intervened and calmed the two sides. Kakinada went to polling after a gap of seven years for election in 48 divisions on the 29th of August.
