AP DGP takes inspiration from Telugu film Srimanthudu

AP DGP Nanduri Sambasiva Rao handed over merit scholarships to students belonging to police families These scholarships have been given with the assistance of Sri Krishnadevaraya Charitable trust The DGP, on the occasion, shared his love for the film Srimanthudu which is based on the theme of adopting a village

Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Nanduri Sambasiva Rao attended a students’ meeting in Guntur on Thursday where he handed over merit scholarships to meritorious students belonging to the police families. The scholarships have been given with the assistance of Sri Krishnadevaraya Charitable trust.

Speaking to the students on the occasion DGP cautioned the students about drugs and drug-related issues. He also cautioned the parents of their responsibility towards the children.

He spoke about the added responsibility of the police to train their children to be the best and an inspiration to others.

He also discussed various issues with the students and shared his liking for Tollywood actor Prince Mahesh Babu’s film Srimanthudu. He said that he watched the film 70 times and amidst whistles from the students he imitated a dialog from the film.

The film has been an inspiration to many because of its concept to adopt a village.
