Andhra Pradesh: Don't pay bribe, just report it on 1100

Synopsis

Andha CM Chandrababu Naidu launched a toll-free number to report bribery complaints. Chandrababu Naidu asked citizens to call the number to lodge complaints.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu while inaugurating ‘Jalasiri Harathi’ program in Narsapuram in Kasimkota mandal in Visakhapatnam also introduced the toll-free number 1100. 

He asked the people to dial the toll-free number to lodge complaints if they face any problems or if any officer asks for bribes.

He also inaugurated the Narasapur dam and spoke in the open meeting. He said that his government has initiated a special program for the upliftment of women called ‘Deepam’. 

Chandrababu said that they planned for the construction of 18 lakhs toilets. He said that they also increased the old age pension to Rs 1000. He remarked that they have beautified Visakhapatnam after the Hudhhudh disaster.
