Bengaluru: A Bengaluru student was selected for the prestigious Student Enhancement in Earth and Space Science (SEES) summer internship hosted by The University of Texas at Austin’s Center for Space Research. This nationally (US) competitive programme sponsored by NASA’s Texas Space Grant Consortium selects students to conduct authentic research using NASA data. Bengaluru’s Parth Bhargava conducted research as part of the COVID-19 Space Exploration for a Better World team.
The COVID-19 Space Exploration for a Better World team conducted research on information being presented to the public and how to properly sanitise spacecraft, assess viral health risks, use Python to predict vulnerable areas and track viruses, create space laws and future protocols, assure safe air and space travel using air filtrations and IVC rays systems, use microgravity to study the spread of COVID-19 and to create vaccine.
