Sandalwood drug racket: Sanjjanaa refuses to get dope test done
Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani declined to give samples for a medical drug test. The actress claimed that it is her fundamental right to say no.
FollowBengaluru: Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani has declined to give samples of her blood, urine and hair follicle to do a medical drug test.
Sanjjanaa was asked to do the test by the CCB in order to go forward with the investigation regarding the drug scandal in Karnataka and specifically Sandalwood.
Sanjjanaa was taken to the KC General Hospital to do the test which is when she started throwing fits and declined obliging to the CCB’s orders.
Going by videos, when Sanjjanaa was taken to the hospital she claimed that the test cannot be done and said, “I have the right to say no, no one can force me to do the test”.
Sanjjanaa Galrani also said that her lawyer had told her it is her right to decline the test. “It is my fundamental right to say no to the test, my lawyer has told me” said Sanjjanaa in a video which was recorded inside the hospital.
Both Sanjjanaa and Ragini Dwivedi were taken to KC General Hospital late in the morning for the test.
Based on legalities, medical drug tests cannot be done unless the accused agrees to do so.
Ragini and Sanjjanaa were brought to the hospital for the test after they agreed to do so, but speculations have risen after Sanjjanaa declined to do the test after arriving at the hospital.
