Villagers in Karnataka fall sick after drinking water from contaminated lake

Raichur: More than 70 people from Shakhapura, in Raichur, Karnataka fell sick after drinking water from a contaminated lake. With no money to afford medicines, the villagers are left with no option, but to stay at home bed-ridden. The villagers urged the state government and the authorities in-charge to purify the lake water as that is the only source of drinking water.
