Thief tries to attack Bengaluru policemen with dagger, gets shot in leg

Bengaluru: Upparpet Police officials opened fire at a 23-year-old Mansoor Khan who was involved in several robbery cases in the city. The incident occurred when police officials were trying to arrest him. Upparpet Police Station's sub-inspector Rajendra opened fire at the accused when he came forward to attack police officers with a dagger.

Police officials on Sunday were tipped off about Mansoor's hideout and rushed to the spot to arrest the accused.

Mansoor was rushed to Victoria hospital for medical treatment and a case was registered in Upparpet Police Station.
