Bengaluru: In view of the PMLA case accused DK Shivakumar being sent to Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody for a period of 9 days, a bandh has been called in Ramanagara district, from 6 am to 6 pm.

The bandh has been called by JD(S) and Congress workers. As a precautionary measure, all private and government schools are shut. Buses to the Ramanagara have also been cancelled.

On the other hand, as the buses have been cancelled, people are finding it next to impossible to commute.

The police have provided fool-proof security to thwart any untoward incident.

A bike rally was also held as a part of the protest.
