Rajinikanth visits brother at Bengaluru hospital

Bengaluru: Actor-turned-politician Rajinikanth visited his brother Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad, who underwent a ‘bilateral knee replacement’ surgery at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Wednesday (August 28).

Sathyanarayana Rao Gaikwad, 77, had severe osteoarthritis in the knee. Rajinikanth rushed to be by his brother’s side and met doctors. 

“Satyanarayana is doing well now and is being declared fit to walk on the same day of the surgery,” said Dr Kiran Chouka, the joint replacement surgeon at Apollo Hospitals (Seshadripuram) said in a statement.
