PubliCity: BBMP to cancel trade license for selling plastic as ban comes into effect

Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike's (BBMP) health department had cracked the whip against the traders for selling banned plastic items and now it is planning to cancel the trade licenses of shops, stores that are found violating BBMP bylaws. The authorities appealed to the public to use only cloth bags and shun the use of plastic bags.
