Bengaluru: Following the resignation of Karnataka legislators from the Kumaraswamy-led coalition government, the fate of BBMP corporators who belong to wards from the MLA’s constituencies, hangs in the balance. The corporators of RR Nagar Assembly, Velu Nayakar, Mohan Babu and Venkatesh, during a meeting at KPCC office, assured senior leaders that they would convince the MLAs to remain in Congress.
Later in the day, KR Puram corporators under the leadership of town planning chairman SG Nagaraj met and discussed the ongoing issue at length. Soon after the meeting, Nagaraj said, "We will convince our senior leaders in the party to sort out their differences and stay back in the party."
