Bengaluru: While the people of north Karnataka are suffering from massive rain and flooding, Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa visited the flood-hit Belagavi on Thursday (August 8) and inquired about the basic requirements from the victims stranded in the area.

Hundreds of villages are submerged in the flooding in north Karnataka while thousands of people have been displaced. Rescue and relief operations are taking time as the teams are finding it difficult to reach the victims as the areas are surrounded by water from all sides.
