As we travelled to the five places in the city, we received mixed reactions from citizens. No one in Bengaluru will forget the rains the wreaked havoc on the streets of Bengaluru last year, as stormwater drains overflowed, flooding low-lying areas of the city, causing large-scale destruction. Pools of rainwater slowed down vehicles which caused traffic jams and brought down trees and resulted in few deaths.
