Bengaluru rains: Andhra Pradesh man dies as compound collapses

Doddanekundi: A man was killed when a compound wall collapsed on him due to heavy rains in Doddanekundi, Bengaluru. The deceased has been identified as Shiva Kailash Reddy, an HR professional, who hails from Andhra Pradesh.

The 30-year-old man was walking back home after work. The eight-foot-high Goshala compound wall collapsed due to heavy rains on April 30. The wall was made of hollow cement bricks. Mud that was stored on the other side of the wall exerted pressure on it, leading to the collapse.
