
There may be a lot of debates over the quality of WhatApp calls, what with our poor cellular data networks; but, if the company’s claim is to be believed users make at least 100 million calls in a day.
"We're humbled that so many people have found this feature useful, and we're committed to making it even better in the months to come," said a WhatsApp official blog post.
WhatsApp, which is known for its regular and innovative updates, had announced earlier in March this year that the Messenger app will allow the users to make calls to the landline numbers too.
Since WhatsApp was acquired by the social media giant Facebook in the year 2014, there has been a rapid pace of innovations. Starting with the eradication of $1 subscription fee to introducing end-to-end subscription, the Messenger has now set its quality and privacy standards much higher than its market counterparts.
