The most prominent feature is 'one-time permissions,' which allow apps to access the phone's location, microphone, and camera only once. Users may also pick the 'While using the app' option to enable applications to access data only when the app is accessed.

Another important feature introduced in Android 10 but made essential for all Android 11 is scoped storage. It places each of your apps in a data "sandbox," preventing other apps from accessing outside data without your specific authorization.

Google Chrome v92 now has a new tool that makes it easy to track specific site permissions. Users may check if they have unintentionally granted websites access to their location, microphone, camera, and other sensitive information by pressing the lock icon in the URL bar. It has also improved site detection to prevent phishing attacks.

Auto-reset permissions is another privacy feature in Android 11, which safeguards user data by resetting necessary runtime permissions. It simply implies that if users do not engage with an app for a few months on Android 11 or higher, the system will automatically reset its necessary permissions.
