India largest two-wheeler manufacturer has said that bike models which Hero had acquired under an agreement with Honda will now be phased out.
The company will replace the models with the new products, manufactured with its technology, said the company’s CEO, Pawan Munjal, in an interview with The Economic Times.
The sale of the listed vehicles was limited, which was one of the primary reasons for discontinuing the models, said Munjal in the interview.
The company has already launched a bike, Splendor iSmart 110, made entirely with own its technology. The bike is currently available for ₹53,300 (Delhi showroom).
