Here’s how Android’s new feature will make your travel smoother

The Google Play store which provides over one million mobile applications is all set to roll out its new feature, ‘Nearby’ which will alert users of useful applications around their geographical location.

The Android’s official blog said, "Getting the right apps at the right time can be tough if you don’t already know about them. So, we're introducing a new Android feature called Nearby, which notifies you of things that can be helpful near you."

"Select Google devices, including Google Cast and Android Wear watches, will also let you set them up simply by tapping a notification when you're at a particular location," said the blog.

Google has started rolling out its Nearby feature to users as part of the upcoming Google Play Services release and will compatible with Android 4.4 (KitKat) and above.
