Argentine superstar Lionel Messi remains in the headlines following his sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona. While he has yet to make his debut with his new club, questions are already circulating about ending his career at the French capital.
Rumours are already flying around that he could move to Major League Soccer in the United States of America, where he could play the final year/s of his illustrious career before hanging up his boots. According to the Daily Mail, David Beckham-owned Inter Miami has already contacted him and held talks with him over the possibility. At the same time, the report also adds that the Argentine already owns a luxurious six penthouses in the city.
It is not the first time that Messi has been linked to MLS. Beckham has long expressed his desire to have the modern-day goats, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, in Miami.
However, Messi's future post PSG is a long shot now, as fans are awaiting his highly anticipated debut in PSG colours. While he did not make his debut on Friday against Brest, he is expected to do so in the upcoming game against Reims on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo is seemingly playing his final season with Juventus, as he has not extended his contract, which is in its final year. While he is expected to make a move back to Manchester United, PSG is keen on having him alongside Messi.
Nevertheless, Ronaldo would also not mind ending his career in the US at Miami. However, it remains to be seen if he indeed ends up playing alongside Messi, which would undoubtedly be a dream come true for any club and most fans.
