Synopsis

Indian shuttler and Rio Olympic Games-2016 silver medalist PV Sindhu defeated Denmark's Mia Blichfeldt 2-0 in straight games in her third match at Tokyo 2020.

Rio Olympic Games-2016 silver medalist PV Sindhu has won her women's singles round of 16 match against Mia Blichfeldt of Denmark.

With this win, Sindhu has entered the quarterfinals of the competition.

The first game, which Sindhu won 21-15, lasted for about 22 minutes.

In the second game too, Sindhu maintained the momentum and went on to win the game 21-13, and the match 2-0
