Brazil's Rayssa Leal won the silver while 16-year-old Funa Nakayama from Japan grabbed the bronze.
Momiji Nishiya of Japan scripted history as she won the first-ever Olympic skateboard competition for women at the age of 13 years and 330 days on Monday at Ariake Urban Sports Park. The 13-year-old from Osaka gave the host nation a sweep of golds in the event a day after Yuto Horigome won the men's event. She starred in the tricks section to score 15.26.
However, Brazil's Rayssa Leal won the silver while 16-year-old Funa Nakayama from Japan grabbed the bronze.

In this game, skaters each have two 45-second runs on the equipment and five shots at a one-off trick. Their best four scores out of the seven make up their final total.
Skateboarding is one of four sports making their debut in Tokyo, along with surfing, sport climbing and karate as part of an attempt to bring Olympics to younger audiences.
