India continues to celebrate its trump after winning the men's hockey bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics. The Indians outlasted Germany 4-3 in a thrilling match, as it eventually brought an end to India's 41-year-long wait for an Olympic hockey medal.
Following the incredible feat, Ashok Dhyanchand, the son of former Indian Olympian Major Dhyanchand, congratulated the side on the feat. He also felt that the game itself set an example in world hockey.
Speaking to ANI, he said that he hadn't watched such an intense game in a long time from India. He also feels that coaching centres worldwide should make an example out of this game due to its quality. He also hailed the Indian government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for supporting every sport and rallying around the side.
