However, the fact that the mega star has a fan in New Zealand former cricket captain, Ross Taylor, testifies the actor's greatness in the film industry. Taylor has been visiting India every year since 2008 to play in the Indian Premier League.

 

The New Zealander, who cannot speak or understand any Indian language, got influenced by Rajinikanth despite being in India for just about a month for the IPL.

 

In 2014, Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik had tweeted a photo of Rajinikanth-starrer Lingaa, to which Taylor replied that he was “one of the greats.”
