PBL: Bengaluru Raptors draw first blood against Delhi Dashers in a must-win clash

Synopsis

Bengaluru Raptors are in the seventh place and Delhi Dashers are in the last place in the PBL ranking table. It is a do-or-die match for both teams.  

Bengaluru: BS Praneeth beat HS Prannoy 15-12, 14-15, 15-13 to win the first match of today’s tie between Bengaluru Raptors and Delhi Dashers. All eyes are now on the mixed doubles which will be followed by the match of the Bengaluru star Srikanth Kidambi vs Tommy Sugiarto

Bengaluru raptors go into today’s matches in a must-win scenario as the team is placed seventh in the Pro-Badminton League tourney.

Delhi Dashers are in the last position and both need to win all the ties to play further.

Delhi Dashers and Bengaluru Raptors have lacked consistency in all the previous matches and their positions in the team ranking is a witness to it.

India’s top badminton contenders HS Prannoy and Kidambi Srikanth take on each other’s teams and both will have to make sure they bring their A-game to score some points to take them up the table.

The Bengaluru Raptors-Delhi Dashers clash is being played at The Arena by SE TransStadia, Ahmedabad.
