Watch: Man wears a skirt at Wimbledon 2017 before receiving a serve from Kim Clijsters
Synopsis
A rule is rule and rules are for all. This saying was proved right at Wimbledon. A fan was invited by Kim Clijsters to take a trial on grass during a womens' invitational doubles match. He was then made to follow the rules by resuming his play only after he wears an all-white skirt.
As the saying goes – ‘Rule is rule, rule for all,’ Wimbledon 2017 was a witness to it. It’s been almost four days since the prestigious event concluded. But in what may be considered as a hilarious scenario, a fan was forced to wear a skirt by veteran champion Kim Clijsters.
During a women’s invitational doubles match, Clijsters pulled a spectator from the stands to provide a chance for the man to play on the court.
After a warm gesture, Clijsters also made a point to be strict about dress code. She pulled out a skirt and all white wear for the man to make sure he resumes a trial only after he wears it.
Rest was all but cherishing moments for the man who received the serve from a veteran player.
