Team Kalina Rangers from Kochi emerged victorious in the Red Bull Four 2 Score National Finals, which concluded with a spectacular display of football, as amateur players from across the country battled it out for the coveted title and the opportunity to represent India on the global stage. The high-energy 4v4 tournament lived up to its reputation, delivering intense action and showcasing the immense talent of grassroots footballers. Mumbai City FC star and Indian National team forward Vikram Pratap Singh was also present on the occasion, according to a release.

Team Kalina Rangers won with the help of a sudden-death golden goal by Tyson Patel, defeating all other teams to bag the bragging rights and a chance to represent India at the World Finals. Throughout the competition, teams from 10 cities showcased their talent, resilience, and passion for the sport. After weeks of exhilarating qualifiers, the National Finals in Coimbatore saw the best of India go head-to-head in a battle for supremacy.

Road to the World Finals

The victorious team, Kalina Rangers, will now embark on an even greater journey, the Road to the World Finals in Canada, where they will represent India at the Red Bull Four 2 Score World Final later this year, where they will be looking to etch their name in Red Bull Four 2 Score history.

The Winning Squad

Kalina Rangers, who are originally from Mumbai, began their journey from the Kochi qualifiers, upsetting the crowd favourite MRFC A, defeating them via a sudden-death golden goal in the final. The Rangers, who qualified for the India Finals after beating stiff competition in Red Bull Four 2 Score 2025's Kochi Qualifiers, are a tight-knit group of friends represented by Craig Dsouza, Scott Moraes, Tyson Patel, Clinton Dsouza, and Faheez Mohammed.

The finale proved to be an end-to-end affair as both sides were relentless in their efforts to score. However, it was an encore for the side from Kochi to book a spot in the Red Bull Four 2 Score 2026 World Final.

Reactions to the Victory

"We are ecstatic about the win at the Red Bull Four 2 Score India Finals, after putting in the hard work and beating the top teams in the country. But now the focus shifts to the world finals in Canada. We are going there to win & not just to participate," said Scott Moraes, Kalina Rangers

"I used to play a lot of futsal in the start of my footballing career. There is more quickness involved in this game. Red Bull Four 2 Score gives a great platform to young grassroot stars to showcase their talent. I congratulate Kalinga Rangers on winning their maiden Red Bull Four 2 Score tournament," said Vikram Partap Singh, Red Bull athlete and India footballer.

About the Tournament Format

Red Bull Four 2 Score embodies Red Bull's 'power football' philosophy and challenges players to show their best small-field, 4v4 football skills - 10-minute rounds, no breaks and no goalie - plus, goals scored during the first and last minute count as double. Tiebreakers are settled with one player from each team going head-to-head, trying to outsmart the other to score the winning goal. (ANI)
