ISL: Bengaluru FC ropes in Eugeneson Lyngdoh after his two-year stint with ATK

Synopsis

Before the Bengaluru FC roped into the team, Eugeneson Lyngdoh had played for Shillong Lajong FC, Bengaluru FC, FC Pune City, and ATK.

Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC, on Monday (June 17), announced the signing of midfielder Eugeneson Lyngdoh back to the team. The Indian midfielder parted ways with ATK after a two-year stint to return to his previous club.

In 2006, Lyngdoh started his senior career with the North-Eastern side Rangdajied United FC, and later playing for Shillong Lajong FC, Bengaluru FC, FC Pune City, and ATK. The main highlight of his career was the commitment with the Bengaluru FC, where he won several trophies and earned recognition.

Lyngdoh played a crucial part in the club's I-League winning squad in 2015-16 and the Federation Cup's triumph in 2014-15 and 2016-17 respectively.

This former AIFF player of the year will aim to brush away the memories of his stint with ATK and start a new beginning in the upcoming season. 

Bengaluru FC will be on the hunt for their second consecutive ISL title after a phenomenal display in the previous edition.
