Amla to make his IPL debut for Kings XI
Synopsis
South African opener Hashim Amla set to make his IPL debut as he joins Kings XI Punjab as a replacement for the injured Aussie all-rounder Shaun Marsh.
Marsh was injured during Punjab's game against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 19. Although he played against Gujarat Lions on Sunday, Marsh was ruled out the the tournament immediately after.
Amla was part of the players auction in January at a base price of Rs. 1 crore, but received no bids from any franchise.
