Professional wrestling fans were extremely upset when the legendary Undertaker lost to Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania 33.

In his incredible 27-year career in the WWE, the ‘Phenom’ has lost only twice at Wrestlemania, once to Brock Lesnar and having won 23 matches since his Wrestlemania debut.

The Undertaker removed his gloves, his coat and his hat, and made his way back along the entrance ramp visibly emotional. He broke character to hug his wife, Michelle McCool. This act made the WWE Universe believe that the match was the Undertaker’s last.

However, that is not the case.

He is still associated with the sports entertainment company and has over four years left in his contract, which is on a part-time basis.

Total Sportek reported that he is earning $1.75million (£1.33m) from the contract. And with such a huge amount being paid to him, it does not look like he can leave the WWE without giving back.

Not only that, the fans can never get enough of the ‘Deadman’ in the ring. At 52, he is still one of the most agile wrestler in the business.

Taker recently underwent a hip-replacement surgery.

And if sources are to be believed, he was seen practising in New York to make a comeback to the ring.

So keep your fingers crossed.
