CK Vineeth: Keralalite's golden touch a boon for Bengaluru FC

CK Vineeth scored his first hat-trick for Bengaluru FC against Mumbai FC on Wednesday. Vineeth is undoubtedly one of the best players in the current Indian football set up.

Bengaluru FC marched on to their third consecutive victory in as many matches in the Hero I-League at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. They have reached the top of the points table with 9 points with Mohun Bagan but the former is ahead because of a slightly better goal difference. Bengaluru FC’s flying start in the I-League is mostly because of the golden boy from Kerala – CK Vineeth, who has pumped in four goals in three matches in the ongoing season.

Vineeth went on to net a hat-trick against Mumbai FC on Wednesday. It was indeed a one-sided affair as the visitors could not create any chances throughout the 90 minutes. Bengaluru FC relied on their ball possession game and reaped positive results with the help of Vineeth.

The meteoric rise of the tall boy from Kannur did not go unnoticed. He was one of the best players for Kerala Blasters in the last season of the Indian Super League (ISL). His efforts were even applauded by none other than Sachin Tendulkar as Vineeth found the back of the net five times.

The Bengaluru FC striker almost made it even grander but could not help the Blasters from losing in the final of ISL 2016. But now he is gone past that moment and is brewing magic with Bengaluru FC in the ongoing season of the Hero I-League.

Vineeth became the first player in the history of the club to score a hat-trick on Wednesday.

With such of kind of efforts he is surely and slowly carving his name in the history books of Indian football. He is undoubtedly one of the best players India have currently and he still has a long way to go.
