On Monday, Praveen Kumar clinched the gold medal for India with an impressive jump of 2.02 mts, securing the top position in the men's high jump T46 final at the Asian Para Games 2023. Meanwhile, Unni Renu earned a well-deserved bronze medal in the same event leaping to a height of 1.95 mts.
India's performance at the Asian Para Games 2023 has been exceptional, with the country's best-ever performance being the 72 medals achieved in the 2018 edition held in Indonesia.
The Asian Para Games 2023 will continue until October 28.
