The audience-sourced Kannada movie U Turn is running to packed theatres in Karnataka. But apparently the makers believe the response can be increased further still. In a new marketing campaign, director Pawan Kumar has announced a public song competition.

The challenge is to re-write the lyrics of the song Go take a U Turn in Kannada and make a video of yourself singing it. The winners will be awarded ₹25000 from the U-Turn crew.

Have a look at this link for the song: Go take a U Turn

The song 'Go take a U Turn' has English lyrics and is sung by Bengaluru-based Smoky Ghost and the female lead of the movie - Shraddha Srinath.

The plot of the film revolves around the death of some motorists who break traffic rules at a flyover in Bengaluru and subsequent pinning down of the culprit by a journalist and a police inspector.

Going by the response to U Turn so far, it looks like the crew will certainly be deluged by a large number of entries for the competition.
