The 'Sabrimala appam' and 'Aravana' to get a makeover

Synopsis

The coming 'Mandala' season will see a revised recipe of 'Sabrimala appam' and 'Aravana' being served to the devotees

The Sabrimala season is considered to be one of the busiest and most holy seasons. And the precious ‘prasadam’ is going to get a makeover from the coming 'Mandala' season. The Devasom Board has approved Central Food Technology Research Institute's revised recipe of the famous 'Sabrimala appam' and 'Aravana.'

The Devasom board members met the director of Central Food Technology Research Institute (CFTRI) to know about the revised ingredient list. The new appam and Aravana would be manufactured in the temple complex itself without making much change to the machinery or other applications and the employees would be given training on the revised ingredients list. It was the CFTR that had revised the panchamridam of Palani Temple in Dindigal.
