Students will now pay twice the amount for PG medical courses in self-financing colleges

Two-fold hike in fees of self-financing colleges in Kerala Decision taken after meeting between government and medical college management representatives The decision is a step towards fee unification in Kerala

The management representatives of Pushpagiri, Jubilee, Amala and Kolenchery colleges and the government came to a decision of raising the fees. The will now see a more than a two-fold hike.

The annual fee in the clinical segment has been fixed at Rs 14 lakh. Last year, the fee for merit seat was Rs 6.5 lakh.

For non-clinical section, the revised annual fee in Rs 8.5 lakh. Also, the fee for clinical diploma has been raised to Rs 10.50 lakh.

The increase is owing to fee unification in the state of Kerala
