
AIADMK, Amma senior leader and Tamil Nadu Finance Minister D Jayakumar mocked DMK working president M K Stalin’s on Sunday on his "desperate" efforts to become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Jaykumar said that Stalin’s effort would end up as a pipe dream. "Stalin is spending sleepless nights, dreaming of becoming Chief Minister," said Jayakumar. He is trying to grab any opportunity that is coming his way. He said "for sure Stalin's dream will never come true and it will end up as a pipe dream."
The AIADMK leader made the statement after the DMK leader met governor Vidyasagar Rao on Saturday, seeking dismissal of the Palaniswami’s government. He is reportedly told the government that the AIADMK leaders had won the trust vote by way of horse-trading. Stalin, on Saturday had also referred to the sting operations led by private channels that proves horse-trading.
In recent days, DMK, which is the main opposition party, has intensified its attack on the Palaniswami government on a host of other issues.
