Six Malayalee pilgrims die in road mishap in Tamil Nadu

Synopsis

 

Six Keralites were killed and two seriously injured after their vehicle crashed with a transport bus at Dindigul in Tamil Nadu on Monday afternoon. The condition of the injured is reported to be critical. 

 

 The victims were part of a pilgrim group from Thankamani in Idukki district. The tempo traveller carrying them collided with a Tamil Nadu transport bus near Dindigul.  

 

As per initial reports, the pilgrims were returning from Velankanni after offering prayers at the  Basilica of Our Lady of Good Health there.
