Nipah virus took away the life of a 31-year-old nurse in Kerala

The nurse's diligence and sincerity towards her her job deserves respect for she served the patients selflessly unaware that she was killing herself. Lini was married and has two children. 

31-year-old nurse, Lini, who was taking care of patients affected by Nipah virus, died on 21 May in Perambra Taluk Hospital, Kozhikode, Kerala. The nurse's diligence and sincerity towards her job deserves respect for she served the patients selflessly unaware that she was killing herself. Lini was married and has two children. The stamp of sacrifice was there at her funeral, too.

Her family is from Chembanoda region near Peruvannamuzhi. They allowed the health department to cremate Lini's body at an electric crematorium in the city without taking her body home to avoid the spread of the deadly virus. 

Lini's husband Sajeesh came home from the gulf, two days ago when he came to know that his wife was not well. Her two children, Sidharth (5) and Rithul (2), couldn’t give their mother one last kiss or even meet her.
