Director Ranjith promises a 'different' Mammootty flick next

Director Ranjith and Mollywood super star Mammootty have gifted a handful of memorable super hits including ‘Pranchiyettan and the Saint’ in which the ace actor appeared in a completely new avatar.  The duo is teaming up again for a new venture titled 'Vamban'. 

Though not much about the film has been revealed yet, it is assumed that the movie will be picturised in Kozhikode and would go on floors in October, once Mammootty completes his ongoing project 'The Great Father'. 

Vamban would be different from his previous ventures, Ranjith assures. But he refused to divulge more.  

Ranjith's latest movie ‘Leela,’ starring Biju Menon based on R Unni's short story, had received good reviews.
