
The Justice JM Panchal-led tribunal has said that it is not possible to release 7.5 TMC water from Mahadayi to Karnataka.
Speaking to Suvarna News Channel, advocate Mohan, in support of Karnataka’s plea, said that the government would take a decision after reviewing the verdict of the tribunal.

Agitation on the cards
Angered by the tribunal’s verdict, people from North Karnataka are observing a bandh. They have warned the government that they plan to stage wide-scale protests.
The situation is tense in Hubballi, Dharwad, Haveri, Belgaum and Gadag.
Complaining of non-support from the Centre, North Karnataka people have decided to lay siege to the houses of BJP leaders in the state, namely Jagadish Shettar and MP Prahlad Joshi.
The Kalasa Banduri Horata Samithi had called for a North Karnataka bandh, and Raitha Sangha had called for an all-Karnataka Bandh on Thursday.
