Kamal Haasan meets Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, agenda Chengannur election?

Actor/politician Kamal Haasan met Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Bolgatty Palace in Kochi on Sunday (May 20). Kamal Haasan invited Pinarayi Vijayan for a rally organised by his political party - Makkal Needhi Maiam- in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. 

Kamal Hassan talked about various issues including Karnataka election, Chengannur election and Tamilnadu politics too. The meeting included CPI(M) Ernakulam District Secretary P Rajeev. 

The meeting lasted for 40 minutes. Kamal Haasan also lunched with the chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Bolgatty Palace. The actor had once termed Vijayan as his political mentor.

The actor termed the LDF government's two years performance as "outstanding". And he wished CM stating that let Chengannur elections also bring glory to Kerala and LDF. Commenting on Karnataka politics, he said it was the victory of democracy over the fascist forces.

The actor thanked the Kerala government for the support to students from Tamil Nadu, who were in Kerala to attend the NEET examinations recently.

This is Kamal Haasan's second meeting with Pinarayi Vijayan after he launched his new political party MNM in February.
