Coorg-based General appointed President’s honorary surgeon

Lt. Gen. Prasad hails from Biligeri village in Madikeri and is serving in a senior position in the Indian Army.

Prasad was serving as the Director General of Hospital Services (Armed Forces). He is one of the nation's leading experts on lung-related ailments. He has presented several research papers in international forums.

He has also worked as a doctor for Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw and has won many accolades in thirty-year long career.
