College in Kochi opens Butterfly park in its premises

Synopsis

The butterfly park is been groomed inside the college premises. The garden will be looked after by the students.

In the midst of the maddening crowds and a busy city life, a beautiful  garden with butterflies fluttering around is no doubt a visual treat for the eyes.

Just to give a glimpse of the true beauty of nature St. Albert's Teachers Training Institute in Ernakulam  has opened a butterfly park inside the college premises as part of its syllabus programme.

"It's a small initiative from our side to bring back the real beauty of our nature which is slowly disappearing from around us so that future generations are aware and can enjoy the beauty of nature ", says Shirley K.O, College Principal.

The park was inaugurated by Kochi Mayor Soumini Jain. The garden will be nurtured and looked after by students.
