Cauvery row: Mungaru Male 2, Golisoda release postponed

Thus the much-awaited Mungaru Male 2 and Golisoda have been postponed.

 

Mungaru Male 2 will be released a day later, i.e., on September 10. Whereas, team Golisoda will shortly announce the new date of release.

 

The entire Sandalwood industry is extending its support to protests against the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.

 

Kannada actors Prem, Darshan, Satish Ninasam and others have expressed their anger against the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.

 

Challenging star Darshan has halted the shooting of his film Chakravarthy.

 

Opposing Tamil Nadu’s demand for water, the screening of Sasikumar’s Tamil film Kidaari has been stopped in Karnataka theatres.

 

Sudeep, who is currently in Kashmir shooting for his movie Hebbuli has tweeted in support of the protests being held regarding the Cauvery water release.

 

He tweeted:

 

We th actors n th industry have always stood for our people and wil always stand up whenever required.. there is no two way about it.

But he has also requested people to be calm and allow the people concerned to find the right solution.

 

His another tweet reads:

Century Star Shivarajkumar, popular as Shivanna, has said that he is ready to give his life in fighting for the Cauvery River.

 

"We will fight till the end," he said.
