BJP teachers' union leader booked for abusing 5th class students

Synopsis

The teacher allegedly abused seven 5th standard students. Narayanan is absconding after the police case. 

 

A state leader of the BJP's teachers' union was booked for allegedly abusing seven girl students of his school.  

 

The police registered a case against TA Narayanan, teacher of an upper primary school in Kozhikode following complaints from parents who alleged that the teacher sexually abused seven five standard students. 

 

The teacher used to give special tuition to students weak in studies and allegedly abused them during these sessions. Narayanan is a state leader of the National Teachers' Union, the teachers' wing of the BJP. 

 

The police have registered a case against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.  Narayanan is absconding after the police case. 

 

Parents took out a protest march to the school and filed a complaint against the teacher with the ChildLine.
