"I have never tried to spoil her career," says actor Dileep

Dileep said he had not thwarted anyone's chances in the industry.

After the actress abduction case, Malayalam actor and the accused Dileep, issued a statement that he never tried to prevent the actress from grabbing opportunities nor has he tried to spoil her career.

Dileep said he had not thwarted anyone's chances in the industry.

He also said that he wasn't informed about his expulsion from the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA). Nor was he aware of his reintroduction 

Many actors, actresses and ministers have been criticising AMMA for its decision in taking back Dileep. On behalf of this actresses, Rima Kallingal, Geetu Mohandas, Remya Nambeesan have resigned their membership from AMMA. The allegedly assaulted actress has never addressed her complaint against Dileep.
